Anyway to combine terrain of osgearth with a Unity3d project?
I was wondering if it is possible, and if anyone has done this, but have osgearth to generate the terrain, etc but have it part of a Unity3d application/server so that osgearth is used to generate the terrain, but everything else is part of unity?

Hi! I've done a prototype of osgEarth in Unity before and it worked out pretty well. It was basically a minimal implementation of osgEarth done completely in Unity that could load the same kind of data sources as osgEarth.
We've had discussions about using osgEarth as some kind of server to feed Unity, but I don't think that is the right way to go about it. Doing a native version of osgEarth for Unity would be better since you can do things like integrate with Unity's lighting engine and shader support.
