Bing Maps scrambled

Hi,

I built the source from yesterday and tried the bing.earth file with osgearth_viewer. The tiles are scrambled:

Maps from readymap and openstreetmap seems ok.

Cheers

Re: Bing Maps scrambled

I just rebuilt and the bing.earth works for me.  Does your console output look like this:

[osgEarth]  [Map] Map profile is: [srs=WGS 84, min=-180,-90 max=180,90 lod0=2,1 vdatum=geodetic]
[osgEarth]  [Registry] NO-CACHE MODE set from environment
[osgEarth]  [Map] [no cache]
[osgEarth]  [TileLayer] Layer "Bing Imagery" [srs=Mercator CS, min=-20037508.34278925,-20037508.34278925 max=20037508.34278925,20037508.34278925 lod0=2,2 vdatum=geodetic] [no cache]
[osgEarth]  [TileLayer] Layer "Bing Imagery" Map/Layer profiles differ; requesting L2 cache
[osgEarth]  [TileLayer] Layer "Bing Imagery" L2 cache size = 16
[osgEarth]  [engine_rex] Activated!

 You are running with no changes to the bing.earth other than an API key?

Re: Bing Maps scrambled

I am thinking another GDAL 3.X problem as your srs is unknown again:
[osgEarth]  [Map] Map profile is: [srs=unknown, min=-180,-90 max=180,90 lod0=2,1 vdatum=geodetic]

Maybe the profile is failing with the new 3.X database
     // Bing maps profile is spherical mercator with 2x2 tiles are the root.
    setProfile(Profile::create(
        SpatialReference::get("spherical-mercator"),
        MERC_MINX, MERC_MINY, MERC_MAXX, MERC_MAXY,
        2u, 2u));

I don't have GDAL 3.X built at the moment to test.

Re: Bing Maps scrambled

Thank you Paul.

You are right. With gdal 2.4.4 the tiles aren't scrambled anymore.
