Blank area occurs where there are two overlapped image layers

Hello everyone,

I created an earth file with two image layers and two elevation layers as follows:

<map name="readymap.org">
    <options>
    <profile>
      <srs>+proj=tmerc +lat_0=0 +lon_0=111 +k=1 +x_0=500000 +y_0=0 +ellps=krass +towgs84=15.8,-154.4,-82.3,0,0,0,0 +units=m +no_defs</srs>
      <xmin>428139.095262</xmin>
      <ymin>3273886.07821</ymin>
      <xmax>447410.011948</xmax>
      <ymax>3301235.20744</ymax>
    </profile>
    <type>projected</type>
  </options>
    <image name="readymap_imagery" driver="gdal" max_resolution="2.2355726">
        <url>Y:\Data\dom\c16jph_Level_16_ProjectRaste1.img</url>
    </image>
    <image name="readymap_imagery2" driver="gdal" opacity="0.0" max_resolution="0.1"  min_level="3">
        <url>Y:\Data\dom\lxh1111.img</url>
    </image>
    <elevation name="readymap_elevation" driver="gdal" min_resolution="97.32786205">
        <url>Y:\Data\dem\90.img</url>
    </elevation>
    <elevation name="readymap_elevation2" driver="gdal" min_resolution="97.32786205" max_resolution="2">
        <url>Y:\Data\dem\demlast_ProjectRaster1.img</url>
    </elevation>
</map>

I found that blank area occurs around the high resolution image boundary when low resolution images stop loading new tiles.

Is it because osgEarth only loads high resolution image data in the area given by the same tile key?

What version of OSG and osgEarth are you using?

Re: Blank area occurs where there are two overlapped image layers

I recommend you try osgEarth 2.10.1 (the latest release) and see if the problem persists.
