Gaps in imagery

When running with this set of imagery and elevation data I am getting gaps in the tiles:

<ArcGISServerImage name="World Imagery">
        <url>http://services.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/World_Imagery/MapServer/</url>
        <nodata_image>http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Topo_Map/MapServer/tile/100/0/0.jpeg</nodata_image>
    </ArcGISServerImage>

    <ArcGISServerElevation name="Elevation layer" enabled="true">
        <url>http://services.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/WorldElevation3D/Terrain3D/ImageServer</url>
    </ArcGISServerElevation>

Is this a function of the data?

Re: Gaps in imagery

It is probably just the data.
If you provide a viewpoint we can confirm on this end.

in osgearth 3.1
TerrainOptions terrainOptions;
terrainOptions.heightFieldSkirtRatio() = 0.05;//the default value is 0.

try it.
