I am looking for a way to add fog to the osgEarth scene with the version 2.10 source code. There are several messages here on the forum but they are all for older versions. I looked at the osgEarth_shadercomp test 1 and it covers the globe with a haze but the thickness is based on altitude above the earth. Close to the earth it disappears. Actual fog is generally the inverse. Usually fog covers the ground and thins as we go up in altitude. Also the apparent thickness differs from the horizontal distance from the perceived object.
Are there any examples that replicate how fog looks in the real world?
