How to cut images into tiles?

Hello,
Called by command line, osgearth-package tool can be used to cut images into tiles. Can I use code rather than command line to implement the same function at runtime? How?
Much appreciated.

Re: How to cut images into tiles?

Hi

osgEarth is open-source. You can find the code of this tool in the sourcecode.

Re: How to cut images into tiles?

Hi, the osgearth_package command line tool uses the TMSPackager class under the hood like this:  https://github.com/gwaldron/osgearth/blob/master/src/applications/osgearth_package/osgearth_package.cpp#L330-L339

You can look at the rest of the osgearth_packager code to see how to set everything up and provide your own options via a gui rather than the command line.

Thanks!

Jason
