LineDrawable performance

Hi,

After migration from osgEarth 2.9 tag to the current master, the number of vertices increase a lot.
It seems linked to the new impementation of the lines through LineDrawable.

As a test, the viewer can be used with feature_country_boundaries.earth file.
Before, at init there are 1 million of vertices. With master there are 4 millions of vertices.

I understand that all lines are now polygonized. But the impact in memory and performance is too big.
Is there a way to use the standard OpenGL lines like before?

Thank you,
JD.

Re: LineDrawable performance

JD,
At the moment, you will have to go into LineDrawable.cpp and comment out #define USE_GPU
