I need to display line patterns.
To do that i am looking at LineDrawable implementation which seems a good start point.

I have some questions:
When using alpha we can see that the lines sometimes overlap (adding then the alpha)
Low camera range:

High camera range:

Is there a workaround to avoid that?

In some cases, like 1 or 2 pixels width, the GL_LINE primitive can be enough and can then avoid the overcost of the LineDrawable method. Do you plan to let the possibility to the developer to choose the Line technic directly from the symbology?

Re: LineDrawables

There is no workaround that I know of for the transparency issue.

We don't have current plans to let the user select shaderless lines, but I don't anticipate that being difficult to support.
