Map View distorted/fragmented (omnet++)

Hello,
I'm having the problem of distorted or fragmented maps using osgEarth in OMNeT++. The point of failure is not clear to me. As I am new to both, I hope one of you guys can tell me what's going on here or how I can narrow down the problem... Thanks!

OMNeT 5.0b3, osgEarth Library 2.5.0, Windows 7x64

Re: Map View distorted/fragmented (omnet++)

That looks like corrupted texture coordinates. Which GPU are you using? Is the driver up to date? I also recall seeing this kind of thing with some of NVIDIA's features enabled...but that was a long time ago.

You may also want to consider moving up to osgEarth 2.7 (or better yet, the master branch).

Re: Map View distorted/fragmented (omnet++)

AMD Radeon R7 200, just updated to newest driver, no special features enabled.

I'll try with the master branch, be back soon. Thanks!

Re: Map View distorted/fragmented (omnet++)

Addition: the following error sounds like it may have something to do with it...

/d/omnetpp-5.0b3/tools/win32/mingw32/bin/osgearth_viewer boston_buildings.earth
[osgEarth]* FAIL, unable to load ScriptEngine driver for "javascript"
ERROR 6: Unable to load PROJ.4 library (libproj-0.dll), creation of

Re: Map View distorted/fragmented (omnet++)

It's possible. PROJ4 is typically built as part of GDAL but it appears you don't have it (or don't have it in your path).

Re: Map View distorted/fragmented (omnet++)

Bringing libproj-0.dll into PATH did remove the error but didn't change anything. Waiting on feedback from omnet++

Sadly, upgrading osgEarth in my environment doesn't seem to be possible right now... https://dev.omnetpp.org/bugs/view.php?id=952
I'll have to switch to another PC, which doesn't show the symptoms.
Thanks for the help!
