Re: NOTICE: osgEarth 2.9 RC2 is tagged

SpatialReference.cpp last update, deleted sphericalMercatorToGeographic and geographicToSphericalMercator functions...

cause the failure of some projection map load, such as:

PROJCS["WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere",GEOGCS["GCS_WGS_1984",DATUM["D_WGS_1984",SPHEROID["WGS_1984",6378137,0]],PRIMEM["Greenwich",0],UNIT["Degree",0.017453292519943295]],PROJECTION["Mercator"],PARAMETER["central_meridian",0],PARAMETER["standard_parallel_1",0],PARAMETER["false_easting",0],PARAMETER["false_northing",0],PARAMETER["Auxiliary_Sphere_Type",0],UNIT["Meter",1]]

The baidu map configured by SXEarth cannot be loaded.

Hi gwaldron

Image layer properties, there are min_level,max_level,min_range,max_range,min_resolution and max_resolution, These are all configurations of the layer's global scope.

I think there is a lack of a display area control, a layer, just to show one or a few areas. thank you.

Re: NOTICE: osgEarth 2.9 RC2 is tagged

Hi,

I built osgEarth RC2.9 with OSG 3.5.9 and Qt 5.9.3. Trying to run osgearth_viewer gives me follwing error:

osgearth_viewer: ../nptl/pthread_mutex_lock.c:352: __pthread_mutex_lock_full: Assertion `INTERNAL_SYSCALL_ERRNO (e, __err) != ESRCH || !robust' failed.

I have testet it on Ubuntu 16.04 and Debian 9

Re: NOTICE: osgEarth 2.9 RC2 is tagged

boy2melo,
Do you get anything like this just running osgviewer?
Can you provide a stack trace?
Thanks.

ago,

I believe your PROJECTION parameter needs to be "Mercator_1SP".

No. The osgviewer runs as expected.

I suppose that it has soemthing to to with the different versions of libOpenThreads on the system. OSG 3.5.9 compiles and uses libOpenThreads.so.21, while Ubuntu16.04 libOpenThreads.so.20.

So I recompiled osgEarth 2.9 with OSG 3.5.3 (which uses libOpenThreads.so.20) and it resolved the issue. At least for now ;)

feature_mapnikvectortiles/CMakeLists.txt

does not have a FIND_PACKAGE(sqlite3). It is currently global defined on main CMakeLists.txt
