Re: custom cursor?

I've never tried osgPresentation. I recommend you post your question on the osg-users mailing list and see if someone there can help.

Hi

When you use windows you can look on such code:

graphicsWindowWin32->setCursor(osgViewer::GraphicsWindowWin32::MouseCursor::LeftArrowCursor);

https://github.com/openscenegraph/OpenSceneGraph/blob/master/src/osgViewer/GraphicsWindowWin32.cpp#L2364

and try to understand "Win32" from Microsoft.

Re: custom cursor?

The earth is an ellipsoid, so changing the height will move the position along the normal vector to the ellipsoid at that lat/long, not along the view vector. So if the view vector and the ellipsoid normal are different, your object will appear to translate relative to the camera.
