error using osgearth_conv to tile a tif elevation file...

This post was updated on .
I need some help...

I'm trying to take an elevation dataset in tif format and create an MBtiles file from it. I'm using the following command:

osgearth_conv --in driver GDALElevation --in url dted1.tif --out driver MBTilesElevation --out filename dted1.mbtiles --out format tif

I'm getting the following error:

[osgearth_conv] Error initializing output: No plugin found to load format "tif"

Can someone tell me why I'm getting this error? Is tif format not supported for output in osgearth_conv?

I'm using osgEarth 3.0 on Windows 64-bit.

Thanks

Shayne

Make sure you built OpenSceneGraph with the libtiff plugin.

Re: error using osgearth_conv to tile a tif elevation file...

That was the problem. I rebuilt OSG with libtiff and now it works.

Thanks Glenn...:)
