help! osgCal

hello everyone,i want to control some skeleton models which are builed in 3dMax in osgEarth.i've compiled osgCal successfully. but i met some trouble at the very beginning. my cfg file is valid,and so are my osgCal::CoreModel osgCal::BasicMeshAdder osgCal::MeshParameters.
but i can only see purple background in my view, seems like my model never exists.   Anybody have suggestions? some teaching materials? somebody says i can use fbx instead.
