land tile in ocean

When running an osgEarth-based application we are seeing an issue on some machines where a map tile that is clearly land is in the middle of the ocean.  Has anyone seen this behavior before?  Our developer who is seeing this tried deleting his map cache but the problem still comes back.

We are using a standard earth file:

<map name="global_view" type="geocentric" version="2">
    <options>
            <cache type="filesystem">
            <path>map_cache</path>
        </cache>
        </options>

        <terrain min_lod="0" max_lod="23"/>

        <image name="readymap_imagery" driver="tms" min_level="0" max_level="23">
            <url>http://readymap.org/readymap/tiles/1.0.0/7/</url>
    </image>

    <elevation name="readymap_elevation" driver="tms">
        <url>http://readymap.org/readymap/tiles/1.0.0/116/</url>
    </elevation>

</map>

Re: land tile in ocean

Jeladi,

I think the problem is with the data, not in your application.  When you zoom down to the ocean, after a few seconds black squares begin to appear?

Re: land tile in ocean

Yes we are seeing those black tiles sometimes when we zoom in on the ocean.
