min_tile_range_factor compute?

Is there any formula for computing min_tile_range_factor for given tif file?

it would be helpful in handling multi resolution data sets.

Thanks

Re: min_tile_range_factor compute?

min_tile_range_factor is a terrain engine property that controls the subdivision of tiles. It is a multiple of the tile radius (i.e. the radius of the tile geometry in the scene graph).

For example if you set min_tile_range_factor=7.0, that means that once the camera comes within (7.0 * radius) meters of a tile, the tile will subdivide into four new higher-resolution tiles.

min_range = min_tile_range_factor * tile_radius.
