pixel based lod

Hey guys. It seems we have artifacts with tile's lod transitions...

i do know that osg has pixel lod , called PIXEL_SIZE_ON_SCREEN, but i do not know how to turn that on.

how can i turn this mode for osgEarth and my project  ?
and what do i have to do on osg side ?

You can enable this in the earth file like so:

<map>
   <options>
      <terrain range_mode="PIXEL_SIZE_ON_SCREEN"
                   tile_pixel_size="256" ...

"tile_pixel_size" tells osgEarth the size to use for PSOS mode (defaults to 256).

PSOS mode works...mostly. Good luck!
